We are so excited to welcome the talented Flora Yin-Wong AKA Flora to AZEEMA FM.
Flora is a London-born, Chinese-Malaysian multidisciplinary artist, DJ and journalist. She developed a connection to music at a young age, experimenting with different instruments, writing and producing music before impressively teaching herself to DJ. Her eclectic sounds take influence from her daily experiences, surroundings, club culture and her East-Southeastern heritage.
She recently released her debut album with UK label Modern Love, Holy Palm, using field recordings collected from travels across Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, China to Buenos Aires, Peru and the Arctic etc. Creating her own world with soundscapes from reality this album is a deeply personal memoir and an incredible experiment in audio-journaling.
