DJ Spotlight - Hot 'n Heavy mix with Shivani Day

We’re so excited to welcome Shivani Day to the AZEEMA DJ spotlight this month. Shivani, 22 from Leicester is of British Indian heritage and is a multi-genre DJ who blends trap, rap, hiphop and jazz with ease (heavily influenced by the large variety of music she was raised listening to) .
Shivani serves us two hours of straight fire with an exclusive Hot 'n' Heavy mix. “This is what I would want to hear on a night out,” she explains, “a range of genres but all under a certain mood. I love heavy beats and I enjoy mixing old school & new underground tracks. My favourite blend being Maxo Kream into the Tokyo Drift edit by BRLLNT”.
Shivani is also part of an incredible grassroots project called HomeTeam Project, founded by Erin Corrian-Alexis (@ErincAlexis), which offers free creative workshops to youth in Grenada and Carriacou. Make sure you check out the great work being done there!
